Conference Scholarship Application

Because of generous donations from our supporters, SSDP is able to offer scholarships for students to attend our 10th annual international conference! If you are passionate about drug policy reform, but are unable to afford a trip to Washington, DC, apply for a scholarship today!

Eligibility: Scholarships are for student SSDP chapter members or students who are interested in starting an SSDP chapter. If you are not a student, please consider donating to the scholarship fund.

Coverage: Scholarships can help cover the cost of travel and lodging, but we will rarely waive registration. The registration fee of $50 helps to cover the bare minimum costs of the event (food, speakers, venue, etc).

Scholarship recipients will be expected to share a room with others and carpool in order to reduce the cost of their attendance.

Deadline: The deadline for scholarship applications is Friday, November 7th. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis, so the sooner you apply, the better your chances are of receiving a scholarship.
