On Thursday, June 7, US Attorney Eric Holder told the House Judiciary Committee with a straight face that his agency, “limit[s] our enforcement efforts to those individuals, organizations that are acting out of conformity with State law.”
Just four days later, federal agents raided El Camino Wellness Center in Sacramento, a medical
cannabis organization in full compliance with State and local law, seizing cannabis, money, and even the operator’s cars, phones and bank accounts.
El Camino Wellness has operated at its Connie Drive location for more than three years. They have a Conditional Use Permit from the City of Sacramento, pay their state and local taxes, and are located well over 1,000 feet from any school or playground. Their security guards pick up trash throughout the neighborhood, and the Sacramento Police Department has not registered a single complaint regarding them in the last three years. El Camino Wellness is the epitome of regulatory compliance—and yet the federal government still showed up on their doorstep with automatic weapons.
74% of Americans think that the Federal government should respect State law on medical cannabis. Both Obama and Eric Holder have stated that their intention is to go after those who do not follow State law. So why are model dispensaries like El Camino Wellness being targeted? Have we completely cleaned up all the Mexican drug cartels’ grows on public land? Either Obama and Holder’s statements are disingenuous, or they have completely lost control of their agencies’ actions.
We must let our government know that they are out of line with the general public on the topic of medical cannabis. When was the last time 74% of Americans agreed on anything? Medical cannabis is no longer a divisive issue, and it’s time the federal government stopped treating it like one.

It is time this nation pulls it’s head out of it’s butt.
Such a waste of law enforcement resources. Not to mention a very brutal and inhumane use of those same resources.
Teddy, to them it is not a waste, it is ‘ legitimate job creation’. Just think of the work force ( from here to Wa. D.C.) needed to bust a cannabis organization such as the EL CAMINO WELLNESS CENTER. When the government talks of ‘ JOB CREATION ‘ they are referring to stuff like this. To us, however, they can just ‘STUFF IT’ ! This kind of government action just proves to me that : ” OUR GOVERNMENT IS AN ASS !” ( I say this ALL the time knowing that it does no good except it makes me feel better.)
When an unarmed American Citizen Minor was killed in Sandford, did it motivate one Federal Weed-Be-gone Worrier to show up, poke around, throw sum impressive, Festive, Federal weight around? When over 100 of them show up in full GI Joe, teutonic/shitake regalia, what was the BIG DEAL for them to respond like that?
Searching for weapons of mass cialis erections, Tranny-Band? Searching for missing children on milk cartons and Walmart’s wall of National law enforcement pride? Searching for clues to homicide, assault, V8 batteries, kidnapping, robberies, thefts, lost property? Searching for stolen mortgage, 401k money? Searching for crumbs of OJ simpson memorabilia outside of Nevada?
NOPE. NONE of the above is important enough or worth the effort to put on their Kevlar costumes, and Made in America armaments. Or have domestic American law enforcement been mandated to purchase Teutonic, Italian firearms YET?
Huge tax paid German Shepherd, and Neapolitan Mastiff Pony show was for Searching, seizing property/ass-ets of Legal State of California businesses, weed-pulling, humboldt bud-pulling. Not tractor trailer pulling, or even pulling Tranny-Bans- Al Quaeda while sporting Wayfarer Ray Bans; yet somehow, somewhat, similar to pud, not scud, pulling.
It’s actions like these Mr. President that have cooled to lifeless any passion to re elect you. Your actions are incomprehensible. And this is coming from someone who would rather tear out his teeth than vote Republican. You don’t seem to have any moral compass to guide your ambition.

the thing about “medical marijuana.” out of all the different psycological meds i have been put on for depression, they have done nothing but made me fall deep into a depressive endless hole.Medical Marijuana is the ONLY thing that i have been able to count on to make this life ok to finishing living. Please Mr.President I dont want to continue living as a crimal/drug addict, because the perscription pills dont work.ONLY what God gave us works to make me better. Please LEGALIZE IT.
Our fed agencies are not smart enough to get money for support their agencies and they are disorder and insane agencies.

When I hear about these things … well to be honest I think about all of the dollars that have been spent campaigning and millions more that will be. This is just another way that this country “wastes” BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars. Frankly if we took even an honest small percent of these wastes I think things in this country would be different. Waste and Lies … My parents wouldn’t allow me to do those things, matter of fact I would have gotten my backside tanned !!
