The following information was taken from CSSDP's website:

CSSDP is a national grassroots student network concerned about the negative impact Canada's drug policies have on individuals, families and communities. They believe that the criminal justice approach to drug use is failing our generation and our society, leading to increased harm from drug use.

By mobilizing and empowering young people to participate in the political process CSSDP pushes for sensible policy that provides the appropriate health care responses to reduce and prevent harm from drug use. Fighting counterproductive policies is the first step to achieving a safer and more just future for students and youth.
