Jonathan Perri

Jonathan Perri is the founder and president of Franklin Pierce University SSDP. He was awarded the Outstanding Student Activist Award at SSDP's 2006 International Conference.
Jon was an A-Z skater of the 2004 Skate for Justice.
Jon served as a summer intern of the Rhode Island Patient Advocacy Coalition in 2007.
Jon founded the first Harm Reduction Center at Franklin Pierce University and served as the center's Harm Reduction Coordinator until graduating with a B.A. in psychology.
In the fall of 2007, Jon interned with Granite Staters for Medical Marijuana, a campaign funded by the Marijuana Policy Project and led by lobbyist Stuart Cooper. Throughout the campaign, Jon and Stuart followed presidential candiates to events and asked them about ending the federal raids on medical marijuana patients. This resulted in Sen. John McCain publicly announcing that he "would do everything in his power to ensure that [a NH medical marijuana patient] was not arrested."
Jon has served on SSDP's board of directors since 2006 and chairs the advisory council.
