University of California Santa Barbara NORML

University of California Santa Barbara NORML is the NORML chapter that former SSDP outreach director Jake Roland was a member of. Re-established in 2005 by Lauren Vasquez and other UCSB students, this chapter of NORML hosts a yearly event called the Joint Rolling Contest that has booked celebrities the Kottonmouth Kings and Afroman.

Regional Director Ethan Kravitz, along with support from MPP and numerous other chapter members, were integral in passing Santa Barbara's Measure P, making marijuana the lowest law enforcement priority with in the city limits.
