SSDP National Staff

The SSDP National Staff is a team of individuals who are employed to grow, serve, represent, sustain, and lead SSDP's chapter network. Each of our staff positions correspond to these goals.

[edit] SUSTENANCE AND LEADERSHIP: Executive Director

The executive director's primary duty is to sustain the organization by fundraising, keeping the organization in good financial standing, and managing SSDP's staff. He also provides leadership to the national organization by ensuring implementation of the yearly strategic plan, which is created by SSDP's Board of Directors.

SSDP's current executive director is Micah Daigle. He is based in San Francisco.

[edit] GROWTH AND SERVICE: Outreach Directors

SSDP has three regional outreach directors. Their primary duties are to grow and serve the organization by providing support to new and existing chapters of SSDP

SSDP's current Outreach Director for the Midwest and Southern regions is Amber Langston, who is based in Washington, DC. Stacia Cosner, also based in DC, is the Outreach Director for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. The Outreach Director for the Western Region is Jon Perri, who is based in San Francisco.

The government relations director's primary duty is to represent the interests of SSDP's chapters and members to Congress and to the media.

SSDP's current campaigns director is Tyler Smith. He is based in Washington, DC.
