SSDP National Staff

The SSDP National Staff is a team of individuals that is employed to grow, serve, represent, and sustain SSDP's chapter network. Each of the four staff positions corresponds primarily to one of these goals.

[edit] SUSTENANCE: Executive Director

The executive director's primary duty is to sustain the organization by fundraising, keeping the organization in good financial standing, and managing SSDP's staff.

SSDP's current executive director is Kris Krane. He is based in Washington, DC.

[edit] SERVICE: Associate Director

The assocaite director's primary duty is to serve SSDP's chapter network by providing services, resources, and guidance to chapter leaders who engage in advanced campaigns on their campuses and in their communities. He also oversees the outreach directors' work and coordinates the alumni and educator networks.

SSDP's current associate director is Micah Daigle. He is based in San Francisco, CA.

[edit] GROWTH: Outreach Director

The outreach director's primary duty is to grow the organization by providing assistance to students wishing to start SSDP chapters, while also proactively recruiting new members.

SSDP's current outreach director is Amber Langston, who is based in Washington, DC. SSDP is in the process of hiring a second outreach director to work in SSDP's San Francisco office.

[edit] REPRESENTATION: Government Relations Director

The government relations director's primary duty is to represent the interests of SSDP's chapters and members to Congress and to the media.

SSDP's current government relations director is Tom Angell. He is based in Washington, DC.
