Save Our Society From Drugs (SOS)

Jump to: navigation, search

Save Our Society, according to their website, is "a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization committed to establishing, encouraging and enabling drug laws and drug policies that reduce illegal drug use and abuse, drug-related injury and death. Among other endeavors, S.O.S. has actively opposed national and state ballot initiatives and legislative measures that would legalize marijuana as a so-called medicine and would create new constitutional rights for the exclusive benefit of illicit drug offenders."

As seen in their About Us section, and the fact that they have an entire section of their website set aside for their Marijuana Initiative, is is very clear that SOS focuses on fighting the legalization of marijuana.

Their Executive Director is Calvina Fay, a professor at the Argentina Universidad del Salvador, and a well known anti-drug activist.
