University of Michigan SSDP

University of Michigan SSDP is an SSDP chapter located in Ann Arbor, MI. The chapter's executive director is Chris Chiles. Although only formed in September 2007, SSDP @ UM has already hosted speeches by two presidential candidates (Kucinich and Gravel), collected signatures for the Michigan Medical Cannabis ballet initiative, attended the ONDCP's drug testing summit in Detroit and both the International Drug Policy Reform Conference in New Orleans and the SSDP Midwest regional conference at Illinois State University. Currently SSDP at UM members are working with school administrators in hopes of enacting a good Samaritan policy.
