About NCIA’s Cannabis Business Summit & Expo
National Cannabis Industry Association’s 6th Annual Cannabis Business Summit & Expo will take place 22 – 24, 2019 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, CA. The summit will bring together more than 10,000 cannabis industry professionals across all areas of the industry. Attendees will gain insights on best practices, policy, and other pertinent topics and network with professionals in cultivation, laboratory testing, law, investment, medical, distribution, extraction, data insights, ancillary products, retail & delivery, infused products, and business solutions.
The summit’s programming includes specialized breakout sessions for 5 suggested tracks: Licensing, Regulations, and Compliance; Cultivation; Business Services; Advocacy and Community; and Processing, Distribution, and Retail. Additionally, there will be an impressive exhibitors hall, a networking reception, and keynotes from leaders in industry and advocacy. Learn more about the event programming here.
Scholarship opportunities for SSDPers
NCIA is offering up to 20 scholarships for SSDPers to attend the event. Scholarship recipients will receive complimentary passes to Day 1 and Day 2 (July 23 & 24) of the Summit. Access to workshops and tours taking place on the Pre-Conference day (July 22) will need to be purchased separately. Scholarship recipients will need to cover and arrange their own travel and lodging needed to attend the event. Lunch will be provided on July 23 and 24 as part of the conference. This is an excellent opportunity for SSDPers interested in pursuing careers in cannabis industry and/or advocacy.
