Fight the drug war from home next weekend

One week from today, Students for Sensible Drug Policy will be gathering virtually for 24 sessions, keynotes and plenaries that will provide cutting edge educational content that will sharpen our skills as activists fighting the failed drug war. You won’t want to miss our biggest event of the year and an incredible opportunity for virtual connection with fellow advocates and reformers from across the globe.

We announced the titles and schedule for the conference program earlier this week, but today we’re excited to share the full #Sensible2020 virtual conference program! See when your favorite speakers will be speaking and expanded descriptions of what they’ll be talking about. We will hear from young advocates and movement thought leaders alike covering topics from applying a human rights framework to drug policy reform, reducing harm across the spectrum of drug use, decolonizing drug use, designing a healthcare system for people who use drugs, and so much more. If you haven’t registered yet, it’s not too late! Tickets are still available here.

Registration starts at just $25 or 25 CAT points for members and $25 for members of the Alumni Association (if you are a member in good standing, the discount you’ve already received will still work).  Sliding scale tickets for people who are facing financial hardship and/or deeply impacted by the virus are also available. For this discount, contact rachel@ssdp.org.

Don’t miss your chance to be a part of the first-ever virtual drug policy conference! We hope you’ll join us online next week, starting May 1st.
