The Global Debate and Public Policy Challenge (GDPPC) is an international public policy competition open to
undergraduates and recent graduates from around the world. This year, they are asking students to submit two written papers – a policy memo and a policy brief – on realistic and hard-hitting scenarios, designed to get them to rethink the way policymakers are currently tackling drug-related issues over the course of 6 months. Outstanding participants stand the chance to win a free trip to Budapest and a $10,000 scholarship. The submission deadline for policy memos is 30 October 2013 and only those who submitted a memo are eligible to proceed. You can find more information and updates about the Challenge on the GDPPC website http://gdppc.idebate.org as well as on their Facebook page.
