From October 11-13 a group of “scientists, artists, activists, seekers and scholars" will come together to learn about and discuss psychedelic drugs in the contexts of science, healing and spirituality. This event is an annual forum that brings people together to learn more about the uses and benefits of psychedelics. Among the distinguished speakers will be Linnae Ponte of MAPS, a partner organization of SSDP. She will being giving a lecture entitled "MAPS Clinical Research and Harm Reduction." Over the course of the three day event, there will be opportunities for attendees, such as students like you, to meet and talk to experts in the field of psychedelic research and policy. The event is being held at the Judson Memorial Church at 55 Washington Square Park South, New York City. The Horizons Conference begins at 6:00 PM on Friday evening with a reception that is free and open to the public. The speakers will begin on Saturday morning at 10:30 AM.
