Are you a chapter outside the US looking to implement an impact-focused project? Maybe you’re considering putting together peer education seminars, creating regional structures or changing campus policy? If so, SSDP International wants to support you!

Building on the legacies of the International Activities Fund, the International Impact Grant is a limited pool of money, channelled to support chapter activities outside the United States. Focusing on impact-oriented initiatives, eligibility for the Grant ranges from campus policy campaigns, local/regional reform, and establishment of inter-chapter collaboration mechanisms (e.g., regional/ national structures), to peer education activities and travel reimbursements to the United Nations or other international meetings, relevant to the drug policy space.

The Grant is highly impact-driven, so we will not support initiatives with a target audience that does not expand beyond the campus community, visits to other SSDP chapters or the acquisition of SSDP merchandise.

Activities between $300-$500 are most likely to be fully funded. The maximum funding sealing for a single proposal is $1,000, however this amount will only be granted to exceptional opportunities that engage a wide range of stakeholders and have the potential for significant, long-term impact in the community.

SSDP International will be accepting project proposals on a rolling basis starting June 15, 2021, until December 19, 2021, for the 2021-2022 program year.

For more guidance on how to complete the proposal, please refer to the Instructions Document. Make sure to read in detail the eligibility criteria and other additional information regarding the funding process.

Additionally, the International Board of Directors will be hosting a Q&A on June 15, 2021, at 15:30 CET. Feel free to drop by and ask for further clarification on the Grant if needed. To join, please click here.

Questions can also be directed towards the International Board at board@intl.ssdp.org

SSDP International is looking forward to receiving your proposals soon.
