The Marijuana Opportunity, Reinvestment, and Expungement (MORE) Act is expected to be re-introduced in the House of Representatives tomorrow (May 28th).
In 2020, the House made history by passing the MORE Act, which would end the criminalization of marijuana at the federal level and provide grants to communities disproportionately impacted by the War on Drugs. With a split Senate and ever-increasing approval ratings for marijuana legalization, now is the time to get the MORE Act passed in the House! Please take action to urge your House representative to vote YES on MORE!
If you’re reading this email, you have probably already taken action to get your representatives to sign on to the MORE Act. It’s because of the efforts of activists like you that Congress is finally beginning to catch up to the American public in recognizing that marijuana prohibition is a harmful policy that needs to end. The fight for sensible drug policies needs your support again.
