This weekend, hundreds of drug policy reformers across the globe will unite (virtually) to envision a more sensible future for all. Will you be one of them?

#Sensible2020: The Virtual Drug Policy Conference makes activism as easy as clicking a link and Students for Sensible Drug Policy invites you to be a part of the movement by getting online and fighting against the War on Drugs from home. Registration is still open!

Friday morning, registered attendees will receive a link to join the virtual conference and a virtual swag bag containing resources, discounts, and an exclusive SSDP playlist. Twenty-two different sessions will take you out of the tedium of quarantine and bring you closer to the movement to end the War on Drugs.

Join us for a weekend of youth-led sessions including Reducing Harm Across the Spectrum of Drug Use, #CND63: What do we do at the United Nations, and #MeToo In Our Movement. The sessions will be delivered by 75 fellow SSDPers, alumni, community members, and movement experts from around the globe. There will also be interactive opportunities to network and connect with your fellow advocates!

To keep track of the festivities, our friends at Canneconomy who are hosting the virtual conference have put together this useful schedule so that you can add your favorite individual sessions to your calendar. Registered attendees will receive the event access code on May 1.

We’d also like to invite you to attend an informal SSDP Pre-Conference gathering via Zoom tomorrow, April 30 at 2pm EDT (6pm GMT). Check for the invitation link in your email.

Don’t miss out on our biggest (virtual) event of the year and register now! Tickets start at $25 or 25 CAT points for chapter members and $25 for members of the Alumni Association in good standing (the discount code you should have received will still work). If you are unemployed/underemployed, facing financial hardship, and/or otherwise deeply impacted by COVID-19, you are eligible for a sliding scale discount. Contact rachel@ssdp.org to access the discount code.

See you online this weekend!
