Sanctions determined by a point system. A typical incident of underage possession warrants one point. All points warrant athletic administration notification. Four points: parental notification if points are from more than one incident. Five points: parental notification, loss of participation in off-campus housing lottery. Six points: Substance abuse evaluation, possible loss of eligibility for off-campus study/study abroad program, disclosure of points violations when disciplinary record is requested. Eight points: Parental notification. Ten points: medical leave of absence for alcohol and other drug use.
