Sanctions depend on number and severity of offenses. First minor offense, i.e. underage drinking: meeting with Student Life staff, possible $75 fine and alcohol class. Possible parental notification. Second offense: Hearing. Sanctions may include fine of $150 minimum, 10-20 service hours, referral for assessment, disciplinary probation, and parental notification. Third offense: Hearing. Sanctions may include fine of $300 minimum, 20-30 service hours, referral to assessment, social probation, residence hall dismissal/reassignment, parental notification, university suspension.

Drug violations do not have a list of typical sanctions according to number of offenses, but sanctions may include fines up to $500, restitution, work assignments, educational programs, housing relocation/loss, disciplinary/social probation, suspension, expulsion, or other.
