Alcohol violations are level II violations, which typically result in losing some privileges, 10-30 sanction hours (reflection papers, community service, mentoring, educational programs, counseling), and deferred suspension or student life probation. Repeated level II violations resultin level III sanctions, including immediate suspension for one or two semesters or permanent expulsion. Other sanctions which may apply include formal apology, restitution, fines, parental notification, and drug testing.
