Overview

Karley Snyder, MPA, PMP, Prosci® is a dedicated harm reductionist, experienced consultant, implementation specialist, training and technical assistance provider, researcher, and writer. Karley is passionate about harm reduction, drug policy reform, overdose prevention, social policy, and public health. Karley works for Aptive Resources as a federal consultant, where she supports the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)’s 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and Crisis Services Program Evaluation and Zero Suicide Evaluation. Karley previously worked for the University of Pittsburgh on multiple federal and state grants where she translated research into evidence-based practice to combat the opioid crisis, expanded harm reduction services, and increased suicide prevention supports. Karley’s efforts supporting community based overdose reduction in Pennsylvania contributed to statistically significant reduction in overdose deaths. Karley earned her Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in social policy from the University of Pittsburgh and also has dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in anthropology and nonfiction writing.
