Vilmarie Fraguada Narloch, Psy.D. ’09

Overview

Vilmarie Fraguada Narloch, PsyD. (she/her/ella) is a licensed clinical psychologist focusing on psychedelic-assisted therapy and integrated treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. She approaches her work from a harm-reductionist and humanistic lens, focusing on the individual needs of the person, group, or community. She is an activist working to end the War on Drugs and advocates for science and reality-based drug education and harm reduction approaches for all. She has been involved in drug policy reform in Illinois, participating in advocacy for Harm Reduction-related and leading psychedelic-policy change at the state level. She was president of the Roosevelt University chapter of SSDP for several years, and was later elected to the board of directors. Vilmarie served as a staff member of SSDP for five years as the Director of Drug Education, during which she developed the Just Say Know Peer Drug Education Program and the Psychedelic Pipeline Career Development Program. She received a certificate in psychedelic therapies and research from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2018.
