Joseph Hennessy

Joseph Hennessey is an MD/PhD student in the MSTP program at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Joe is in his first year of graduate school and is studying the neurobiology of psychedelic effects on cognitive flexibility and stress in rodent models. Additionally, Joe was a petitioner with SSDP and testified in the 2024 DEA hearing regarding the scheduling of DOI and DOC. He currently is an Early Career Policy Ambassador with the Society for Neuroscience and plans to use this platform to advocate for more sensible drug policy.
