Elijah Ullman ’12

Elijah Z. Ullman, B.S., PhD Candidate (Molecular and Systems Pharmacology, Emory University), is Chair of Students for Sensible Drug Policy’s Science Policy Council, a 2023 American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) Washington Fellow, and a member of the ASPET Drug Research Policy Committee, and Washington Fellows Program Subcommittees.
Elijah joined SSDP in September 2012 as a Sophomore at Monarch High School and attended his first SSDP event, the Mountain Plains Regional Conference at the CU Boulder Law School with his father. He worked for the next several years with the CU Boulder chapter and additionally founded a chapter at Monarch High School in Louisville, CO. He later founded a chapter at Colorado State University where he completed his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience in 2019.
Elijah’s dissertation research at Emory University focuses on the pharmacology underlying allosteric modulation of the NMDA Receptor and dynamics of the ion channel pore.
