Overview

Katia Katsnelson is a Brooklyn native and a proud Teach For America corps member, currently in her third year of teaching in her home city. She has designed and implemented her own 10th-grade global history curriculum, ensuring her students engage with history through a critical and inclusive lens. Passionate about mental health, harm reduction, and equitable education, she is committed to creating supportive learning environments that address the whole student. Her work in the classroom, combined with her dedication to drug policy reform, drives her mission to advocate for sensible, evidence-based approaches to education and public health.
