Join SSDP at the 4th annual Florida Harm Reduction Collective Conference

SSDP is traveling to sunny St. Petersburg, FL January 26 – 29th as a cosponsor of the 4th annual Florida Harm Reduction Collective Conference, and we hope to see members of our SSDP community in attendance.

Kat Murti, SSDP’s Executive Director, will be giving giving on talk entitled, “Storytelling With Care: Communications & Media Training That Centers Lived Experience and Reduces Stigma.” Keep posted to the conference website for agenda details, and visit Eventbrite to register for the conference.

Additionally, we are hosting two events during the conference, our next Sensible Soirée on Tuesday, 1/27 and a harm reduction hangout on Wednesday, 1/28.

Sensible Soirée St. Pete

SSDP is hosting a pre-conference party for the Florida Harm Reduction Conference on Tuesday, January 27 from 7:00 – 10:00 pm. This is an evening of networking, music, and drinks at Artmosphere, a local art studio and gallery located close by the conference venue.

Tickets are $20 and include one alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. Additional drink tickets may be purchased for $5 each. Artmosphere is located at 327 14th Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33701, a 4 minute rideshare from the conference venue.

Harm Reduction Hangout

Harm Reduction Hangout: SSDP and FLHRC are convening at Green Bench Brewery on Wednesday, January 28 from 7:00 – 10:00 pm.

Join us for a relaxed, community-centered harm reduction meetup at the brewery.

The event is free and drinks can be purchased at the bar. Green Bench is located at 1133 Baum Ave N.
St. Petersburg FL 33705, a 7 minute rideshare from the conference venue.
