Announcing SSDP International’s Extraordinary Board Elections and General Assembly

In light of recent changes within the SSDP International team, we are delighted to announce that nominations are now open for network members interested in joining the SSDP International Board of Directors! Nominations will be open until August 30th, when the election candidates will be announced. On September 13th, online voting will open, and the successful candidates will be announced at the Extraordinary General Assembly on Monday the 20th of September. 

All chapter leaders (outside of the United States) have the opportunity to vote at the General Assembly. In order to vote, we ask that you register using this link before the 17th of September 2021. All chapter leaders, including those who may be part of a national network, are invited to register. (e.g. Campus & community based chapter leaders in Nigeria & Ghana are invited to register). If you do not register to vote, your vote will not be counted.

If you would like to be a candidate for board election, please fill out this form before the 30th of August. We will publish a web page with information about all of the candidates once the nomination period has closed, so we ask that all board candidates send a photo, their biography and a short piece stating why they want to be a member of the Board of Directors to roisin@ssdp.org before the 30th of August. 

The draft agenda for the Extraordinary General Assembly will be published on August 13th. If you wish to add anything to the agenda, please submit your requests before the 17th of September.
