Elections for SSDP’s Class of 2022 Board of Directors are taking place today! SSDP remains unique in the fact that our organization is youth-led, meaning that ⅔ of the governing body of the organization consists of students and/or young people under the age of 30. Each year, the network is tasked with electing new directors to the Board. This year, we have 9 phenomenal candidates vying for 5 open seats. You can learn more about each candidate and why they’re running by viewing the 2022 Board Candidate Slideshow. Voting is open now and will close tomorrow (Thu. April 14th) at 9am PDT/12pm EDT. Results will be announced later in the afternoon. Each Chapter gets one vote for your top candidates, so please make sure to coordinate before submitting your vote. The Chapter voting link can be found here. Additionally, SSDP Alumni are encouraged to vote through this link here. The Alumni vote will count as 1 Chapter vote when tallying results.
