Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) is the largest national youth-led network dedicated to ending the War on Drugs. With a Board of Directors primarily elected by and from our student and youth members, SSDP empowers young leaders to engage in the political process, advocate for evidence-based policies, and foster honest, open conversations about drugs and drug policy across the ideological spectrum.
SSDP Internships offer a dynamic, hands-on experience designed to equip students and young professionals with the skills, knowledge, and connections necessary to make a tangible impact in drug policy reform. Interns will take on meaningful projects, collaborate with advocacy leaders, and contribute to SSDP’s mission through research, communications, policy analysis, and grassroots organizing.
Whether you’re passionate about harm reduction, cannabis policy, psychedelic research, or criminal justice reform, our range of internships will provide a valuable opportunity to deepen your expertise, while actively shaping the future of drug policy.
